NATOMAS FA COMPETITIVE ACADEMY | 2017-2006

Our Academy Program is focused on the development of the whole player (Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychological) while simultaneously developing a passion for the game in a fun environment. 

Natomas FA utilizes licensed, educated and trained coaches to implement a soccer (fútbol) curriculum.  We spend our efforts educating and recruiting excellent coaches to teach a love of the game based on USSF guidelines. 

Birth Years:  2017-2006

Tryouts:  FREE - Players must attend tryouts and receive an invitation to register for a competitive academy team. All Players are required to tryout each year for the next Fall Season in May.

2024/25 Club Fees:

$350 Club Membership Fee paid by all players upon registration

  • $850 | 2017-2013 Birth Years
    Payment plans: $850 paid upon registration or a payment plan of $95 per month for 10 month beginning  July 1, 2024 - April 1, 2025

  • $1150 | 2012-2006 Birth Years
    Payment plans: $1150 paid upon registration or a payment plan of $125 per month for 10 month beginning  July 1, 2024 - April 1, 2025

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need. Applications and instructions are included in the registration link received by players who receive offers to play on Competitive Academy Teams. Natomas FA makes every attempt to work with families based on their individual needs after team assignments have been made.

Club Membership and Fees Includes:

  • Licensed professional coaching under the direction of our Director of Coaching, Academy Director and highly trained coaching staff

  •  Fall and Spring League Play Games (approximately 16-20 games, played mostly on Saturdays and Sundays in the Natomas and Greater Sacramento area)

  • League season 4 Trainings per week in the Natomas and Greater Natomas area

    • 2 Team Development sessions (field sessions, coach led)

    • 2 Individual development sessions (trainer led with technological baseline, progress, and end-of-season feedback)

      • Field Sessions will be targeted toward

        • Game Model implementation

        • Team Tactical Principles

        • Cues-based (perception-action) training

      • Individual sessions will target individual development of

        • Technical / Ball Mastery

        • ABC +Strength (Agility, Balance & Coordination)

  • Optional year-round training 2 days a week (minus Club mandatory vacations)

  • State Cup Competition (approximately 6-12 games played in the Greater Sacramento/Northern California area)

  • Natomas FA Spring Kick Off Tournament played at Cherry Island Soccer Complex in Rio Linda, CA (guaranteed 3 games)

  • Summer Competitive Academy Training Camp, July 29, 2024 - August 1, 2024 Evenings in Natomas

  • Optional Friday night Goalkeeper training, Striker and other clinics in Natomas or Greater Natomas area

Mandatory Uniform Kit: Approximately $160 (includes Adidas Custom Home & Away jerseys, Adidas shorts, Home & Away socks, training shirt). Players who competed on a Natomas FA 2023-24 Competitive Academy team and purchased an Adidas Squadra or Custom Adidas kit may use that kit for the 2024-2025 season. All players will receive an email to the email address they registered with from “MyUniform.com-SoccerPost” with our Natomas FA Store. New players must order their complete kits here. Everyone has the opportunity to purchase individual uniform pieces, warm-ups and additional equipment in the store.
